ROWING TO LATITUDE

I like reading about cold places. Jill Fredston is a rower and an "avalance expert" who lives in Alaska. She's rowed all the way around the coast of Alaska and through the middle of it. She rowed around the whole coast of Norway, Spitsbergen, Labrador, and one side of Greenland. She basically rowed like 20,000 miles all over the place.

She wrote a book about it called Rowing to Latitude. The book isn't great but the story is bananas. All that rowing! Look at these maps.

This is big time dream chasing/risk taking. People doing crazy things because why not.
